Join the San Fernando Valley Audubon Society as we learn all about wild turkeys in California. Dr. Katherine Miller from California Department of Fish and Wildlife will discuss the history of how these amazing birds got introduced to California, flourished, and on-going research and habitat projects. She will be joined by Kevin Vella, district biologist for the National Wild Turkey Federation, who will speak on valuable work NWTF is doing in California. This year, you can join the SFV Audubon Society for free! As a member you will be sent the invitation to this ZOOM event, as well as notification of other upcoming webinars and events, bird walks, and fun activities that support conservation and birds.
